The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

This young athlete has substantial social media following

The young golfer will have multiple prominent cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates several international courses and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He essentially advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better human being. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai brings the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching the next generation.

Kai maintains millions of followers and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
