The Reasoning Behind Make It Accessible Why make a once niche movement quirk available to everyone? Principal designer the development lead explains developers wants players to feel powerful — even those who are inexperienced. "[The playerbase] performs advanced techniques like super-gliding and tap-strafes, and we looked around at our competition, looked at what our players execute, and we wondered, 'What if we provide these capabilities to a broader audience?'" the designer clarifies. "Since right now, certain advanced [movement] mechanics are kind of janky to use — it requires to remap your keybinds and execute within precise timings. So we said, 'What if we create a more official version?'" The Amped Update Emphasis on Mobility Mobility is primarily the central theme in Season 27, with Legends the gravity mage, Rampart, and Valkyrie receiving buffs to maintain them in motion.
